My trip meter can not be reset. Adjust wheel is locked up can not turn. Trip meter itself is still working ?? Any help / information on how to fix would be GREATLY appreciated. I searched google and the forum I havent found anything???? Thanks, Perry

I pulled mine apart a couple of years ago. I dont remember too clearly but I think the return knob/wheel thing unscrews if thats any help.

Aha! Thats on a manual clock. Is yours electronic?

Its a manual. Wanting to know of any fixes. Especially if I don't have to take speedo apart.

sprayed a little penatrating lubricant wheel freed up. can reset!! im going to have to check when putting the chrome base back on its really close to the wheel too close I think. These bases are the ones I bought to replace the black bases. (aftermarket)

Like I said,its a long time since I worked on mine and I cant remember much about it. I did use a magazine article to strip and rebuild them,maybe thatll be a help to you. At least give you some background. Its somewhere at the bottom of the first page of my build thread.
