Pretty much any symptom you can imagine.
The factory ones, even when working perfectly normal, might have little misfires at idle. It doesn't hurt anything and it's only at idle.
When the igniter is starting to go bad, you might not be able to rev all the way to redline, or you might have a loss of power. The ignition may cut out entirely on two cylinders intermittently. Usually, though, it goes completely dead on two cylinders, and sometimes all four.
Heat related and vibration related issues are more often associated with the pickups, not the igniter, but the igniter can have issues with that as well, it's just not as common.
Many symptoms are very similar to when a coil starts to go bad. So you really have to swap a bunch of wires around to narrow it down to one of the three items (coils, igniter, or pickups).
First step is to confirm you have the adequate voltage to the coils and igniter.

There are tests in the factory manual for the igniter but even then it says if the igniter is suspect then it may test 100% but still be failing. It needs to be replaced with a known good one... I'm fighting a possible igniter issue on my KZP.
Good luck,
Jim

Thank you both for hands on information !
I don`t know if the IC is the problem, I have some problem in 6-8k RPM area, it can be bad carb. tuning etc also...
I wanted to ask, nice to have all alternative "available" when I troubleshoot.
I will look more into it, will look more for mechanical problems first.

Had a longer tour today, and bike behave so different
respond quick to throtle and have much more power in low and midle range. Goes good in whole RPM range....
Seems like my unstable problem has been wrong needle / float height..,,
I’m so happy now
need to start prepare new weekend tour
Thank you all for your inputs!
