replacement ignition coils for OEM kawi ignition was created by aakd18
Hi! I just get an OEM Kawasaki ignition from a KZ550 and I want to purchase new ignition coils. The optimal choose would be the Dyna Grey coils 2.2 Ohms, but I found that really expensive for me (I'm from Argentina and the custom's fees are terribly).
So, what other options do I have?
I would like to have some EMGO coils but I can only find 4 ohms coils.
Thanks!!
edit: sorry for not introducing myself, I thought I've already done it.

You might wanna check PietCard in Argentina. They sell a coil that is identical to OEM.

thanks for your response.
I know that brand, but I don't have good references. And also the cost of buying that Pietcard coils is similar to importing the EMGO's

You can search for DZE "bobinas secas", they sell a replacement too.
Take into consideration, EMGO is an aftermarket supplier. Not a high perfomance parts one. Soy there is a chance, local Pietcard and DZE are the same coil as EMGO.

You can also probably use the 3-ohm Accel Supercoils if you can get them. I've been using the 2.3 ohm no-name replicas of the factory coils from ebay, and so far (3 years) I haven't had any problems.
