Dim Headlight Ever since I changed the handcontrol

So I recently changed the handlebar control on my KZ750LTD for the lights, horn, and turnsignals. Right when I changed this the headlight got much dimmer and the brights are even worse. Plus whenever I switch to the bright it goes black and takes a second to turn on at all. The connections look good to me but I may be wrong, any ideas?

Your replacement switch or either side of block connector is stuffed, will show high resistance through a meter. Trace the headlight low and high beam wires only.

You could try cleaning the contacts, also check that no black/yellow ground connectioons have been displaced in the headlamp shell.

to clean use ONLY an Electrical contact cleaner. No WD-40 or any penetrating oil. Also clean the connector on the end where it plugs into the mating connector in the headlight bucket.
