Break lever activates break light w/out touching

It's a recently serviced Custom KZ200 cafe racer.
The front break lever is slightly loose and sticky when releasing, doesn't effect the breaking power at all although it keeps the break light activated even when not pulling it. I understand there is a small switch (as you can hear it clicking whilst wiggling the lever) So is there a way to increase the forward force on release to ensure the lever shoots back to place so that it doesn't touch the switch?
Thanks!

You could check the brake light switch to see if it's gunked up or something. To remove the switch there's usually a square hole on the underside where you would push in on a tab using a flathead screwdriver or something. push in the tab, then pull out the switch.

Another possibility is that the Fr brake mc piston is sticking. You may need to refurbished the front brake,

Could also be the brake lever pivot bolt is gummed up. Take the lever off and carefully clean the perch, lever and the bolt. Lightly lubricate them and reassemble.
