Turn signals not working yet hazards do?

Since threes a running theme of turn signal issues, I thought I'd start my own thread. 81 KZ1000 CSR signals don't work but the hazards turn on. Thoughts, suggestions?

On a related note, previous owner swapped out original bars so there are no front signals. Anyone got suggestions for good aftermarket fork or headlight mounted signals?

Fit the front flashers and see what happens.

You should put some front signals on to confirm, but it could just be your flasher/relay.

On my KZ1100 there are two separate blinking units (IDK what they are called) One for signals and one for hazards. The one for the signals might be bad. Tritan 552, the replacement is ~5 dollars.

The old flasher probably won't work right without the front turn signals. As noted above, get a new flasher from the auto parts store. The Tridon 552 thermal flasher may work fine, but I would get an electronic flasher: Novita LL552. EL12. or LF12.
