82 440d ltd pick up coil iso

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationHi, i am new to the site here. Just picked up another project bike an 82 kz440d ltd belt driven. Have it about 80 percent put together still searching for a few parts which include the air filter, pick up coil, starter solenoid and as well as a few minor parts. The pick up coil is my main priority right now. I've searched online and found very little out about this part. Searched the site forum. Couldn't find much info on what i need. I was wondering if anyone had any experience in using pick up coils off other bikes. Just to be clear on the part here is a link to a similar part.



Any help is much appreciated.

Kawasaki.com , Owner Info, Parts etc shows the 440 pickup coil is part # 59026-1010.

Putting that # into the search bar at Powersports Warehouse

I dont see an 83 - 84 750 twin listed anywhere so perhaps a typo by the ebay seller and perhaps that ebay part may work for you.... but double check before hitting "buy it now"

I bought a couple for spares a few years back. Many times they will not be listed on Ebay with the part numbers as people do not take the time to look them up when parting out a bike. It does not look like there were any other part numbers but any pick up coil from any KZ440 will work. Try searching for "KZ440 ignition" or something more generic than the part number.

I went ahead and bought that one for 75 bucks. We'll see what happens when it gets here. This part is really hard to find. Thanks for the help. Now I'm back to finding that air filter.
