Fuse box replacement
08 Nov 2016 14:04
I'm cleaning up and simplifying the area under my seat. I want to replace the fuse box with blade type fuses. I'm thinking of just using 3 of these.

Seems easy enough. Anything I should be aware of?

They should work. I just replaced the main fuse. Now I have the others and one heavy one for accessories. I like having them in one box and the main is in a clear housing.

That is what I used for my XS650. The fuse boxes with the old glass fuses are a notorious weak spot.

I used something similar to this 6-way Hella fuse box:
amzn.to/2g0amR6
I think I am using 4 of the slots with extra fuses in the 2 extra slots. However for space savings I think that next time I'll use a 4-way box.
