It seems Kawasaki put a separate trip/odometer unit on a few bikes. My 82 KZ 1100A2 being one of them.
It seems to be working OK but I can't get the trip to reset when I need to. I usually reset when I fill up so I can track my mileage. The 2 times I've filled it up it won't reset. I've tried it later and it's reset but not when I've wanted it to.
Anyone know anything about these units and what might be the problem? Any advice one repairing it?
