Coil issue

I'm running a Kz 1428 in a hill climb bike. I have a dyna ignition system and dyna I believe 3 amp coils the green ones. I have tried testing them and get sine inconsistent results when I warm them I'm pretty sure coils are my electrical issue. For a high performance motor am I better off getting new green coils or something different?

How old are the ignition coils? Running the factory resistive sparkplug caps? Dyna makes a non resistive, copper ignition leads(sparkplug wires). Are the primary(small gauge wires) tight? If longer screws are used, the screws can bottom out, before being tight. Accel makes a similar ignition coil that should fit,if you need to replace the Dyna coils.

The bike was built probaly ten years ago. But doesn't get rode more then a few times a year. Primary wires I believe to be 14 gauge. Secondary or spark plug wired are a custom plug and cap set up only a couple years old. Bike has ran flawless for last 5 years but last race completely died and runs horrible soon as it warms up.

Are the primary wire terminals properly crimped? Using a pair of vice grips as a crimper, will eventually cause the terminal to fail,or become intermittent.

There not bad connections. I'm going to redo all of them tho w heat shrink crimps because I don't like the looks of their connectors.

I got tired of wires pulling out of connectors or breaking off at the crimp so now I pull the insulator off and solder them and use shrink tube.
