For the speedo & tach I installed heavy duty Eiko bulbs from the auto parts store (#1891).
The 1891 bulbs are longer than the stock bulbs but fit fine & also fit in the center cluster.
My csr meters are virtually the same as your bike (750-H3).

Being the gauge light are so hard to get to, I did LED's. I hated them go out in a short time.

I always used #53 bulbs over the years. They are easy to get, not expensive and work, but not as bright as the original bulb. Otherwise just buy the correct bulb. 92069-018 is the basic bulb they all used far as I know. $2.50 each through partszilla. Yes $2.50 is rip off for sure it seems, but they work correctly and last a long time.
321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

The #53 bulbs are 0.12A/1.7W, while the 1891 are 0.24A/3.4W, so the 1891 are the same as stock & brighter.
The #53s are the same physical size as stock, but the glass on the 1891 is longer & they fit fine on my 81 650-CSR.
I think the LEDs nowadays are supposed to be very bright, so that's one reason for switching to those.

Some LED's are and some aren't. I'm going through that now. Be sure to get the super bright ones. The bulbs on the aftermarket gauges have the ends blacked out so there won't be a bright spot at the top and bottom. Still playing with mine now.

From an instrument panel bulb topic:
By guitargeek: Here's what I used. (see pic)

These would be even brighter:

Make sure you have the bayonet base bulbs (like my 1980 KZ750-H1) and not the wedge type (like my '87 KZ1000-P6), I'm not sure when Kawasaki switched over.....
