For a cleaner spark Think about the solid core Dyna wires wires if you buy the coils and run the B8s non resisiters ...... you can get them in red, black and grey and you should be able to find yellow on Ebay.

Red Dyna plug wires such as these examples from Z1E could be used with either their integrated black caps or with any other caps such as the mentioned NGK caps.

The NGK caps likely have a built-in resistor (similar to stock caps), but non-stock caps might or might not have the same resistance as stock caps.
Would be sure the non-stock caps do not have more resistance than stock caps.
As already suggested by others, would install B8ES plugs (non-R).
I enjoy running Dyna solid core plug wires with their integrated non-resistor caps together with B8ES plugs, thereby having zero resistance in the wires, caps and plugs (which, if it's a concern, doesn't suppress ignition noise in radio reception).
Good Fortune!

As Patton shows, 4 ohm was the target spec for the stock coils. Yes, 3 ohms will shorten the life of the points, but by how much is hard to predict. That may be a good thing, since it will get you to the Dyna S sooner
