I think it was 14. The Z1's are 14 but the KZ 900 LTD's were 10? Why?

I bought a battery from High Tech Battery Solutions for a KZ 900 thinking it would fit. It was way too small. I called them and they sent me a new one for $5. Not only was the price cheap but their service is excellent. They had me keep the old one so I sold it on CL for $25.

I think the L is the placement of the terminals.

Battery code for the Z900/1000 = YB14L-A2.
14 is for 14 amps,
Motobatt do a smaller battery of the same capacity and so do the lithium options.
The model specific Motobatt comes with packers to fill the dead space in the battery box if needed.
