I was thinking can dyna 3ohm dual output coil from a harley work an a 94 kz1000 p

Yes, I would think so, as far as the basic coil function is concerned.
Will require other secondary loop components that are serviceable and suitable to the application such as plug wires of correct type (preferable solid core) and sufficient length, and spark plug caps (preferably with zero resistance).
