Starter button issue? (1980 550 ltd)

OK, so I've run into a problem.

The spring in the start button on my 1980 kz550 ltd broke.
I've ordered a new one, but I think in working on the switch I may have fried a fuse or something.

I checked the main fuse in the fuse box and it's fine.
is there an inline fuse somewhere or something else I should check?

There is power at the button, and the lights and console are still on, but I don't get even a sputter from the starter when I touch the contacts on the button.

nevermind. it was just a stuck solenoid.

guess I need a new one of those as well.
