KZ1100 Spectre front turn signals

Just got the front turn signals fitted and wired. My bike was a Vetter bike so had the fairing, and was taken off by last owner ( I would have taken it off too...) so I had to come up with turn signals for it. I put reasonable bars on it, the semi chopper bars were ridiculous I thought. So I was left with nowhere left to put the signals, bar rise is as short as I could get. So I mounted them on the headlight mount sides, where the reflectors used to be.. So, wired them up, and the question is, do the front signals always stay on, like running lights or something? Everything seems to work, flash as supposed to, hazards work, but the fronts remain on always. Normal?

The front turn signal lamps should have dual filament bulbs; running lamps in addition to turn signals. If single filament lamps are installed you should make sure they are hooked up to the flasher circuit and not the running lamp circuit.
