regulator prob

I just realy want to say tanks for the help today i did figure it out and i had a nice ride and again thanks alot for the help...

Just for others reading this thread. That is a 70's voltage regulator. The screw does nothing but hold the inside components. A modern regulator/rectifier combo is the way to go. I upgraded my system and never looked back. :whistle:
