Neutral Light Wiring 82 kz550 c ltd

New Drag 2.5" speedometer with high beam, neutral, oil (which I hooked up for low fuel), and turn signal. All dummy lights wired and running except my neutral light.

The light itself works but when I plug the neutral switch wire into the ground for the light it does not work. Tried a new wire and still nothing.

Also does anyone out there have a color copy of the wiring diagram for the 82 KZ550 C LTD?

Did you check the wire connector at the neutral switch?

Female end? Is so yes. I tried a new wire from neutral swith to light ground. It's acting like it's not making a conection on the other side of the cover.
