GT550 Stand Light

Hi All

A newbie here with an electrical fault on my 1983 GT550

The side stand switch is causing lights on the dash to flash including the ignition light. I have disconnected the stand switch and linked the 2 wires together but to no avail.

Has anyone got any suggestions?

Check and clean all your plug in connections.
