I had a knucklehead come in my shop who bought a five pack of 5A slo-blo fuses.... he came back the next day wanting all his money back because the "cheap shit" fuses all kept blowing open in his 100 watt guitar amp after a few mins of being turned on!!!

Well foubd the problem. Bad ungrounded wire. But then I was riding in a lot of rain and boy did my bike take a crap. Wouldn't stay idling in first, backfiring. Then would keep accelerating even after I let out the throttle. Just awful. Let it dry out and runs fine!

It is fairly critical to have a good battery and regulator ground. The dyno/gen will just keep pouring DC voltage into every thing until something blows... hopefully the main fuse.
