Wiring Questions

I have a question about some wires I can't identify.

I purchased a new wiring harness,since the one that came with the bike was beyond repair. The guy I bought it from said it came from a 1982 kz550-c.

I have two questions: First, there is a green and pink wire that I can't identify. Every wiring diagram I've looked at it doesn't seem to show up. My guess is its the neutral light indicator?

Secondly, what does the brown and orange connector go to?





I circled the 2 areas in the attached picture. I should note that the all the loose wires came in a 9 pin connector, however I removed the connector to try and sort the wires.
