Dyna "Miniature" Series Coil ??? was created by kzdcw
I see Dyna is now offering a New "Miniature" Series Coil? Anyone using these? I'm familiar with the Green 3.0 ohm Dyna Coil, but not these. They appear to have slotted mounting holes but don't know what the spacing is. I assume they are just smaller for any clearance if they arise?

They are for ignitions with fully controlled dwell. They are not meant for ignitions like the Dyna S or the factory ignitions. The Dyna website should have had a warning to that effect.
Because they are smaller, they have no room for excess dwell, which requires more heat dissipation.

Appreciate the input loudhvx, I didn't see that on their web-site.
