Meter reading weird

So when I'm testing my battery for charge when the bikes running it's jumping all over the place also it's getting a reading on ac I tried a different rectifier I already have what would cause this..

Try an Analog(moving needle), as the Digital ones are sensitive to magnetic fields created by the alternator's magnets.

Is it a rectifier + regulator bike or a rec/reg combo? year/model?
voltage is regulated by the..... regulator!

Having been asked several times already, you think by now he would have added his bike's year & model to his signature line so he wouldn't need to keep remembering (or forgetting) to include it in his text. Just stubborn I guess. :blink: Ed
