Z1 Advance Springs

Restored my 75 Z1B decided to go with Dyna coils and ignition, long story short the idle would hang up and after the usual checks and carb swap/adjustments I swapped the old points back in and no more rpm issues so what's the best route to go regarding springs or replacing the timing advancer if I go back to the electronic ignition. Thanks for any info
