Wires

Well I have a few wired getting hot but the bike runs awesome it's mainly a black and yellow one and brown one is this normal the rectifier is not hot and battery is getting charge also could that be the cause of my starter failing before I replaced it thank I kz750 h1

A BLACK with YELLOW stripe wire, is part of the bike's ground circuit. A small gauge wire(usually 18 gauge or so) is part od the voltage sense circuit, and with it not connected to a steady voltage source, the battery could overcharge, blowing the lightbulbs, and possibly damage the ignition system.
