KZ650-B1 Wiring diagram was created by Twilightoptics
Seem to be having difficulties locating a wiring diagram for my bike. '77 KZ650 B-1. I had a coil wire die so I put Dyna green 3ohm coils on to go with the Dyna S ignition I already had. After 30seconds of run time, the main fuse blew. It's got a mere 1.5ohms to ground now. Blows instantly, but only at key on.
The FSM I have is a reprint and the wiring diagram is too blurry.
Thanks,
-Paul

Looks like there is one in the Filebase here. Look up top. Put the cursor on FILEBASE, click on SEARCH and enter KZ650 in the box

Sweet! That should get my going. It blows with the run switch off, and I have the coils on a relay so it shouldn't be too tough to track down. Just tedious.
Thanks Ed!
PS I tried the one in the filebase. It downloaded but loads blank.

Traced it out to the horn. I must have moved it just enough running plug wires and such, to ground the brown wire lead onto the frame.
All good now! Onto the fork seals!
Thanks,
-P

If you run into any issues with the fork seal be sure to ask before getting into trouble. Ed

Thanks Ed! I've already built the tool as you described in another thread for holding the inner assembly. Came apart easy. I Cleaned the forks up and will paint/reassemble this week.
