1981 KZ1000LTD Coil swap with KZ750

Alright, so i ran into another issue. The right side ignition coil was bad. I have a dual output coil from a 1978 KZ750. Its a beige color and the spark plugs jump when its hooked up to the KZ1000 and the motor is cranking over. Can i just use this coil or are the ohms wrong? Id like to use it in an effort to save money on the project. I ordered a bunch of parts for it tonight so if i can use that coil, it outta be ripping up and down the street in a week or so.
