starter button and rear brake switch

Ok I changed the throttle too push pull and need to get rid of the fat right hand controls for something slimmer. I also changed my rear sets for a set of s1 rear sets. Anyone here hook up there rear brake light of of it or do you just figure the front will turn the rear light on? I did find a few thinner controls on ebay But just wonderd what you might have used.

Also, easiest fix for a rear brake light switch is something like this .
