Complete electrical shutdown was created by Bluekz
Hi,
I have a 1980 Kz750e. Th other day, I was riding, everything was fine and suddenly, the bike completely shutdown.
Since the engine was entirely original, I decided it was a good time to change de stator and the regulator.
The bike is still completely shutdown. Battery is at 12.5, the 3 fuses are fine.
What could possibly be the problem?

Ingnition switch you mean, the key?
I've changed it a couple months ago. I've check the wiring last night and it was good...
My options are:
IGNITER
STARTER-ELECTRIC
Coils...?

Do you have a multimeter, and know how to use it? You'll need it to see where the voltage is, and isn't, also it can be used for continuity checks.
The best multimeter tutorial
Places to buy a multimeter are:
Lowes (the electrical section)
Home Depot(the electrical section)
Sears(in the automobile section)
Radio Shack
And any good electronic supply store.

define "shutdown". All electrics dead? Headlight or turn signals work? Does the starter crank over?
