Rev limiter needed for Dyna S upgrade? was created by FaultedGeologist
I read in a previous forum post (read almost every one, only saw this mentioned once) about needing a Dyna rev limiter after upgrading to the Dyna S. I was about to place my order and wanted to get it all at once.

Do I need a rev limiter if I am careful not to exceed 9k?

Thanks in advance for the help!

Here is the post that mentioned the rev limiter. It is near the bottom.

You won't need it any more than the original ignition needed one.

You will most likely need to get 3-ohm coils if your bike came with electronic ignition ( I think it did). The original coils will be less than 3 ohms.
