I checked it again this morning after charging the battery. Engine off, battery reads 13 volts. At 4k rpms with lights on it shows 13.6 volts. If I shut the lights off it goes to 14 volts. It may not be the strongest charging system, but it is charging now. It sure cranks over great now with the new battery!

So do you think I'm ok now with these numbers?

If not already done, would confirm the readings with a different voltmeter.
