turn signal switch

hey guys..sorry if this sounds kinda dumb. ive spent about 3 days looking for an answer, but havent been able to come up with anything.
for a little back story..i recently got a 97kz1000 police edition. it was running and only thing wrong with it was a broken fork tube. i decided to just swap out the fork assembly from a parts bike i got for cheap (91 gsxr 750)
well i swapped out the front end with no problem, got the gixer throttle housing,kill switch, start switch wired up.
wanted to start doing the left handle bar switch, but the gixer light swith only has like 3 or 4 wires..and the kz has about..a ton..
i was hoping you guys could tell me what wires do what. i have the horn and hi/lo wired..its just the turn signals that im stuck on..

check ur manual for a wire diagram it being the police model they had a lot of other lights and stuff. if you dont have a manual u should be able to find a pdf file but u should also get a real paper one
