NGK spark plug boots/caps
17 Apr 2014 16:07
No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationWell, Iam in need of some new spark plug boots. I ripped one of mine taking them off. I was looking at what was available online. I found what id like to have, but cant find exactly what I want. I want a set of the NGK boots that are black and say NGK in white. But all that I can find is resistor style. I don't want resisitors in mine. Does anyone know where to get some for 7mm copper core wires? Heres a example of what iam talking about, but notice they are resistor type. If theyre not made, is there anyway to remove the resistors?

Call Z1. They had the plastic snap on caps of both types for mine (they are easier to use than the rubber ones). They can probably fix you up.

I just found out they don't make them like that, without resistors. I ended up finding some different ngk boots that have no resistors.

So the boots have the resistor in them stock?
I'm ordering a Dyna, figure I should get proper wires too. Mine are pretty stuff and seem to be stock.
Nevermind. Few hours of research answers all these questions and more!

Yep, get the Dyna copper sparkplug wires, I believe they come with no resistors in them.

Z1 Enterprises has a good price on the NGK plug caps and they sell copper core wire by the foot. Not sure what to suggest regarding non resistor type screw on plug caps though. The stock Kawasaki caps were resistor type if that matters...

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationheres the only kind that they make for no restistance caps. Ill probably go with these. Ill just paint up the ngk lettering. They still don't look as good as the resistor caps tho.
