No starter button/where to send coils to? 80 kz650 was created by Jasonhasakz
Greetings from Lake Michigan.
In my attempt to make my first cafe racer, I have dropped my right side controls. The starter button was broken when I bought the bike, so dropping the controls wasn't a huge sacrifice (plus, i liked the idea of kickstart only...maybe a newbie decision). So that leaves me with the yellow coil wires that would have went to the starter button, Should they go straight to the ignition now? I'm lost. HELP!

The yellow coil wires didn't go directly to the starter button. They would have gone to the kill switch where they would have gotten 12v. But now you need to connect them to the switched 12v supply wire coming from the ignition switch (key switch).
