what are some turn signal options for z1-r was created by asevans
Looking for a good turn signal option for my z1R.
Right now I have no signals. I like the way it looks without turn signals, but feel like I should have them for safety.
I have seen the aftermarket original ones and could go that route but was looking for maybe something alittle different.
I can't find any pics of a z1r with anything other than the original signals. I have looked on e-bay at some different ones. Wanted to see what others have done. There are some pretty slick people on here.
Thanks
Aaron

You'll need to probably order these through a motorcycle accessory shop.

I've been thinking about trying a set of the K&S 257500.
They seem sort of similar to the stock Z1R style but much smaller.
K&S also makes a very similar set that are not DOT approved ("marker light"), but that come with two different stem lengths. Part numbers 25-8128 (long stem) and 25-8038 (short stem). I thought the longer stem might be necessary to get out past the fairing for the front signals.

In my experience people respond more to a hand signal than they do to a little blinking light. I've almost been rear ended twice and both times I had my turn signals on. With that being said I don't run any signals on my Kz 1000.

I dont mind using hand signals. it just seems like its hard to hand signal and down shift and work the clutch.
i like the one MFolKs posted but cant seem to find them anywhere. at least not on any websites.
cant seem to find any pics of a z1r with any other signals other than stock. ill keep looking. its been so cold this spring havent even had her out yet. tried to change the oil over the weekend and stripped out the oil drain plug. waiting for a new one then ill be in business
thanks for the help
Aaron.
