Head light replacement

The low beam went out on my '81 CSR 1000. Took it apart to see what bulb it took and discovered it has a sealed beam. Went to Z 1 and they have a 7" lens and h4 bulb for $19 and just as much for shipping. Has anyone used one of these?

I have not, but here is an option that I have been using for many years and really like. It's a direct replacement 7" sealed beam that draws about the same electrical current as stock , but it is Halogen so it's much brighter. Ed

Decided to go with the one from Z1. It takes the same (h4) bulb that I run in my old Subaru, so I will have spares and can try the better bulbs . I always replace both if one burns out and use the silver star.

I bought the complete H4 headlight bucket with ring in chrome from Z1, fits and looks just like stock.
