Can someone please tell me what these two component are?
They were both located around the fuse box under the left side cover.

PLEASE add the year and model of your motorcycle to your signature line. There are many different variations of KZ electronics and other components, and without knowing which model bike you have it is tough to answer questions. If you add the year / model to the signature line you never need to remember to add it in the title or text. Ed

Assuming your bike is an 81 KZ550 LTD as you posted in another thread, the first picture is a fuse box, and the second picture is listed as a "SWITCH,OUTAGE,INDICATOR".
Check out the file download section for the KZ550C2 wiring diagram:
kzrider.com/filebase/search/viewdownload/1-general/278-z550c2
The fuse box is used to provide protected power for electrical accessories. I have no idea what Kawasaki intended this to be used for (extra lights, heated grips?), but it looks like it's not hooked up to anything from the factory.
The outage indicator is used to detect that the brake light bulb has failed, and light up a warning initiator on the gauges.

Yes it's and 81 kz550 ltd.
so there's another smaller fuse box sitting right next to the bigger fuse box.
I can "fuse box" written on the main one but nothing indicating that the other thing is a fuse box as well.

In the 1st photo the accessory fuse box is near the frame tubing at the bottom of the pic. It should have 2 fuses. On my 81 650 one accessory lead terminates at the headlight bucket (blue/white wire) & the other accessory lead terminates nearby under the left side cover (white/black wire).
The 2nd photo is an outage indicator switch & it probably monitors the brake light, flashing a warning light in the meters if something is amiss... burned out bulb, circuit fault, that sort of thing.

Thanks for the info guys.
Im thinking that i dont need these.
The PO had this bike all screwy with the wires and I am in the process of stripping it down and rewiring it myself with just the bare necessities.
