1983 KZ650 Wiring/Battery box

Can someone post some pictures showing how all the wiring is routed and the different pieces that hook onto the battery box go.

I took this thing apart and I can't figure out how all the metal pieces that hold the connectors and hook onto the battery box go.

Try the diagrams at Kawasaki.com or Partzilla. The parts should be oriented correctly in the drawings - you just need to un-explode them. The battery case diagram is the primary reference. The air cleaner diagram shows a couple of L brackets that should attach to the battery case. The igniter attaches to the back side of the "electro base bracket" (#11034) - probably bolt the igniter to the bracket 1st, then install the bracket.

In the 1st electro photo in the linked topic at the upper left, there's a bolt & large washer - that's one of the frame connection points for the "electro base bracket" - the bolt has a bushing & damper. The other frame connection point for that bracket is diagonally to the lower right. Directly below the bright silver bolt is a threaded hole - that's one of the attachment points for the plastic electro cover - the Kaw diagram illustrates the other attachment point.

#11036 is for the acc fuse box.
#11036A should be obvious - it's connected to the battery case & #11036B which probably bolts to the underside of the battery case, along w the voltage regulator (the fuel check switch or outage indicator switch may be attached to it).
