Basket case 1987 KZ1000 p-6. On the right grip there is a switch marked M P O. Does anyone know what this is? I would like to use it for grip heaters if possible.

I'd think the switch should be on this circuit diagram:

 Thanks, Randy!

My brother was asking on my behalf, as I was up to my elbows in wiring harness at the time, and trying to make a deadline. Since I missed that deadline, I can now take more time with this project...

P/M/Off: Near as I can tell, stands for Pursuit, Motorcade, and Off, and is for the party lights. Not sure what the differences are, though.

The switch below that is for the rest of the lights, and is explained in the police supplement to the factory service manual.

I have a few other dumb questions, though...

What are these things?

They look like diode blocks or resistor blocks. But looks like too many wires to be a proper "rectifier". Could be diode logic, but would have expected different wire colors, then.
Sometimes the term "diode" and "rectifier" are used interchangeably, but they are not really the same thing.

Not sure what the other things are, besides the obvious relay of some sort, and maybe a single diode.
