Starter prollums. Maybe.

Hello folks. I went to start my fine cantankerous old bike this weekend and the starter would turn, but not engage the flywheel/motor. It sounded like it was spinning but the gears weren't meshing. Pulled the starter and the brushes look fine, as do the springs for them. Gear teeth look good, and I have a charged battery. Is there a solenoid I'm missing somewhere? Do you guys have any suggestions? Thanks for the help.

Sounds like a bad starter clutch.
