Has anyone found a good source for battery cables for our bikes? Z1 Enterprises doesn't seem to have any.

I'd say crimp the terminals & then apply flux and solder to seal the ends. Battery "Boots" the right size may be hard to find, but try the aircraft parts places, as they have boots of many sizes.

I may have to get one of those crimp tools. I've been trying to avoid paying $100 for one, but HF's tool is $70. Still a little pricey, but a bit better.MFolks wrote: I've made my own up, using 6 AWG (American Wire Gauge) welding cable & the correct terminal ends. I got a crimper at harbor freight with several dies. If you need additional smaller wires on the terminals, you'll have to have them in place before crimping them.

I can get away without the battery boot if the current one will fit the new cable. If I get or make a near exact replacement, the existing boot should work.
Thanks.

Well, duh. Why didn't I think of ebay? That's almost too easy. Still, I should have thought of it. I used ebay to do my last bike repair. Have you (or anybody else) ordered from this seller (sun_motorcycles)? They're in the UK. I've never bought anything from an overseas ebay seller.650ed wrote: snipped ebay auctions because they take up a lot of room...
Thanks.
