I'd see if the ignition coils are getting battery voltage, as all the ignition points do, is make and break the ground circuit, producing the spark at the plugs.

ok so the points seem pretty good(i think). the bike was sitting undercover in a garage but it was 100 ft from the sea... and i checked to see if the points where getting electricity but using a bulb and connecting one to the frame and one end to the spring thing below the point, i checked both sides and the light lit when the points where dissconnected im not sure what to check next. the crank position sensor?

I've found a couple of coils have failed on Kawasakis, maybe a weak spot, age or just riding all year in the cold and wet.

Hemp sent me a private message telling his story and that i probably didnt sand down the points enough, so i tried that again and boom got spark, since the carb is good i guess the next thing is to get some oil and gas and give it a try :woohoo:
