The accessory fuse box is behind the left side cover rearward mount. One 10A fuse has a black/white lead which terminates nearby. The other 10A fuse has a blue/white lead which terminates at the headlight bucket.

I wanted to be able to quickly connect a batter charger or air pump, so I hooked up a pigtail w matching connectors directly to the battery. The power socket came w bullet connectors, so I made a pigtail for it.

Radio Shack Interlocking Connectors 274-151 & 274-154

The original connector on the battery charger didn't match the radio shack parts, so I replaced it.
The loose conector in the pic is a spare which serves as a protector for the pigtail connector to keep it clean.

I've been using the Slime Top Up Compressor for several years. Works good as just that, a Top Up. It is not recommended to run it for extended periods as it will overheat. In the instructions it states this.
So saying that, I run mine, bike off to adjust air pressure in tires and suspension. I carry 3 of the CO2 cylinders and the tool for them, plus patch kit and tire plugs. If you had a flat, on a tubeless tire and needed to get it seated back on the bead. That compressor probably would be hard pressed to do it. Carrying the CO2 is a piece of mind. So far I've only had to use them on the dirt bike.

I just picked up one of these:
www.amazon.com/Battery-Tender-081-0069-8...onnect/dp/B0041CDPQO

It's a female cigarette adapter that plugs into my battery tender pigtail. Since the battery tender line already has an inline fuse all you have to do is plug it in.

I haven't used it yet but plan to run a GPS off it.

This is the one I have, which takes the Non Threaded cylinders. They are much cheaper than the threaded ones. Walmart has the cylinders next to the air rifles real cheap.

I've only used the slime top-off pump once, as a test. After deflating the rear tire to about 20 psi, the pump aired it back up to 36 psi pretty quickly. Out on the road I'll probably do it w the bike running - it would be a real drag to get a tire aired up but not be able to start the bike because of a dead battery.

I only expect to use the pump in an emergency situation in which I have a slow leak, just so I can limp home. Or if I can do a plug repair without removing the tire & if the tire is completely flat, I'll do as MotorHead mentioned & run the pump for only short periods of time, airing up the tire in increments so that the pump doesn't overheat.
