Electronic crank/cam pickup conversion? was created by high toned son of a bitch
I bought a aftermarket cluster for my 76 900, and it is all electronic. I need someway to pickup my tach signal to the cluster. Does anyone make a electronic screw in jobbie that would go in the factory location? That would be sweet.

Also, the cluster has gear indicators. Any way to use them? I am not really worried about this, it would just be nice to use the cluster to it's potential.

Thanks all

Can't say for sure about the gear position indicator, but the tach signal will be picked up from the coil, plus maybe an additional hot (+) and ground (-). And fabricate a block off plate/bung for your existing tach cable in the head.

Good luck with your project

Don't be ridiculous! It's only a flesh wound!
