Powder coating for the most part, is non conducting. Many riders who have their frames powder coated, don't get a M6 X 1 tap, and clean out the grounding places, then wonder why the charging system isn't working.

I seen my ground sparking at battery box,then I hooked to engine.Thats when I just put everything back on.Ive had some ground issues over the years on this bike.I just figured that engine ground was good enough.

I checked my grounds.I was checking my fuses,& noticed that with the key on I had one that was dropping to 10.5 volts.I had my kill switch & head lights on that circuit.The dyna s ignition was on that circuit also.I disconnected the dyna s & the the head light got brighter.Im not using the middle fuse that went to the reserve lighting,So I'm gonna run my lights through there.I seen where some of you guys were talking about that dyna s voltage drop.Thanks for all the info.
