Simple wiring.
07 Jul 2013 22:22
Hey guys, just joined this page. I recently acquired a 1980 KZ1000. I plan on bobbing the bike, and was wondering if anyone had a diagram as to how they have simple wired this bike? I want to keep the stock electronics, but I have removed the blinkers and am wanting to relocate the rectifier and ignition.
Thanks guys,
Adam

Find "Loudhvx", or look in "Filebase" (upper right hand corner of the homepage), I think a diagram is there.

just tear into the wiring and lengthen the wires to whichever parts you want its actually pretty simple in the first place and becomes really simple when the whole harness is exposed just keep it connected to everything i just redid all my wiring and it hella tits now. just basic shit to run the bike control the headlight and start it

Thanks, dude. I am going to get the carbs back on this weekend, and hopefully get the bike down to my buddy's shop so we can begin cutting the frame and bobbing this beast!
