Rebuild parts for a tach? (KZ750 E1)
03 Jul 2013 22:35 - 03 Jul 2013 22:53
I've got a 1980 KZ750E1 that "floats" in the upper rpm range. Anyone know of a source for parts to fix it?
If not, does anyone have a decent source for a similar sized replacement? I like the stock look, at would want it to fit in the same space.
I also want to swap my speedometer from metric to US units. It was originally a Canadian bike, and the kph to mph conversion gets old... haha. But that is far less important, as I have a little conversion sheet in my tank bag.
Edit: I read on here that it is probably a 5:1 ratio tachometer. Anyone try something like this: www.gbinstruments.com/mechanical-tachometer-tacho-tach.html ?
Double edit: nevermind, just realized that is only 3500 rpm. lol

I believe I have a complete set for a KZ750E1. Send me a PM if you want them, include your e-mail address so I can send pics.
