Hello all. My first time here. I just got a 1980 kz 550 I was trying to put wires back in there place and hit a big post fuse on the frame and had some sparking. Now I can not get the starter to work. I think I have that diagnosed to my solenoid, if I touch the 2 posts together on solenoid she try's to start. My question that I still have no clue is why my headlight and rear brake light do not work? Any direction would be much appreciated. All other fuses look good at least the ones i know of. Still waiting on a repair manual. Thank you.

Fuses looking good and actually being good are two different things. Test your fuses for power going in and out, either with a meter or test light.
