where is starter lockout switch at?
21 Jun 2013 15:11
Hi.
I'm working on getting my z1r finished up and am trying to figure out where some of these random wires I have just hanging there with no place to go. I have a brown and a black wire coming from my right hand control switch.
Looking at the wiring diagram it shows the black coming from starter and going to starter lockout switch. Where is the starter lockout switch? i have no black wire to plug into. The only black wire that goes back through the main harness is connected to the coils.
I'm kinda at a loss. Wiring is not my thang.this wiring diagram looks like Chinese, well maybe Japanese. Ha.
Thanks for any help.
Aaron.

The starter lockout switch should be at the clutch lever perch. Ed

Oh, well there we go, cause my next question was where did the two wires coming from my clutch lever go to. Didn't realize you jade to engage clutch to start. My 900 isn't like that. The wires coming from clutch are both black and seem very long.
New it was something simple.
Thanks
Aaron
