Replacement Turn Signals '82 KZ550

After having to fix several electrical issues over the past few months on my KZ550 I'm finally down to dealing with the turn signals. First off one of the previous owners tried a horrible LED conversion, and decided to wire both the front and back LED lights into the rear turn signal wires. It was simple enough to remove compared to the problem I had from the same owner also butchering the start/stop switch and starter button wiring which I believe I have all sorted out now.

I can't exactly afford to go with original style replacements from Z1 Enterprises so I've been looking around for something more fitting. I considered using the bulb style turn signals from vipcycle.com since I had absolutely no trouble installing those onto my other bike, a Yamaha SR185.

What I'm looking for is reliability, and something that is going to be easily seen unlike the tiny LED turn signals I removed. So I'd like to hear what other people have used when not going back with stock turn signals.
